Habitat for Humanity Helping out with some home improvement projects in our community. It’s a win for the community and the associates as they are working as a HFH Volunteer during their regular work day.
Relay for Life Our team, The Renegades, promotes the fight against cancer and put together numerous activities throughout the year. They raise funds through bake sales, cookbook sales, community fund raisers at local restaurants, hosted a soup dinner, hair shaving contest, and a raffle auction, just to name a few. The Renegades ended up raising more than $6,000 for the fight against cancer and are going strong in 2017!!
Helping the Less Fortunate A program that provides gifts for children at Christmas time. Associates along with the help of local youth groups, worked together to make tie blankets and buy and wrap gifts.
Veteran Recognition Thank you for your service to our country!! We are proud to have you on our team!!
Club Twenty Feyve Our annual recognition to those team members with 25 and more years of service. This years’ celebration included a bus ride to Luverne where they were “pulled over,” forced to exit the bus and were searched! One of the associates was the ‘suspect’ and put on trial by a jury of her peers! Many laughs took place and the day was topped off with lunch at Sterlings.
Employee Appreciation Day In appreciation of all the hard work our associates do we also have various fun events throughout the year. Summer events can be a picnic, an ice cream social, even a carnival. We have fall or winter festivals and we’ve even made pancakes for break time. Our holiday dinner is a hit with turkey and all the fixins. Great way to enjoy good food, fellowship and fun with our co-workers.
